Educational
Our Qala-I-Malakh School enrollment is averaging over 800 students, more than
50% are female. The school needs $8,000 annual support.
Vocational
Training centers have
opened in both the Jamaly Village and the Zan abad village. Sewing and
literacy classes are offered to Afghan women.
A health instructor is
also present to teach female, child, and family health and hygiene.
The women who have completed the sewing classes are given a sewing
machine and supplies to continue to sew for their families and earn
money by sewing for others. $17,000 is needed annually to continue the
vocational training.
Medical
We have recently built a
medical facility for families in the
Nangahar Province. The medical clinic provides safe and
free medical care for hundreds of Afghan families.
